Opening Our Doors, Strengthening Our Communities
Over the past few weeks, our secondary academies across Place Partnership have welcomed hundreds of families, giving prospective students, parents and carers the chance to experience firsthand what makes our schools such special places to learn, grow and belong.

These events provided a wonderful opportunity for families to explore our academies, visit classrooms and specialist facilities, meet our dedicated staff teams, and hear directly from the students who make our schools such vibrant and inspiring places to learn.
While each academy showcased its own unique character and strengths, one thing was clear across every event: the strong sense of community, belonging and pride that exists throughout our Trust.
For us, open evenings are about much more than allowing people to visit our schools. They are a reflection of who we are and what we stand for. At Place Partnership, our vision of People Belong. Place Matters. Purpose Lasts. is deeply embedded in everything we do, and our open evenings bring that vision to life.
People Belong. Place Matters. Purpose Lasts.
We are incredibly proud of the communities we serve in Doncaster, Rotherham and Wakefield. Our academies sit at the heart of those communities, and welcoming families into our schools allows us to strengthen those connections and share what makes each academy such a special place. Whether families were visiting for the first time or returning to learn more about their local academy, every conversation and interaction helped build a deeper understanding of the opportunities available to young people across our Trust.
Visitors were able to experience first-hand the warmth, ambition and dedication that can be found in every Place Partnership academy. They saw not only our facilities and learning environments, but also the people who make the difference every day. From student ambassadors and classroom teachers to support staff and academy leaders, our people are the foundation of our success.

Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family will make. Academic achievement is vital, but so too is finding an environment where a young person feels valued, supported and inspired to succeed. Our open evenings offered families a genuine insight into academy life and the culture that underpins everything we do.
Across the Trust, we were delighted to see so many families engaging with our academies and sharing in the excitement of the next stage of their educational journey. The enthusiasm, positivity and support shown throughout the open evening season was a powerful reminder of the strength of the relationships between our schools and the communities they serve.

We hope families left with a real sense of what makes our academies special and, most importantly, an understanding that by choosing a Place Partnership academy, they become part of an extended family where they can truly find their place to belong.

Thank you to all the students, staff, parents and carers who made these events a success. Together, you demonstrated exactly what Place Partnership is all about: great people, proud communities and lasting purpose.
